Someone once reminded me - the true value of a  portrait is what it will mean to the future generations.  One day, your grandchildren and great grandchildren will look for photos of you. What will they find?

It brings me so much happiness to capture images that tell the story of you and your family. I consider it a great privilege and honor be able to create portraits which will become treasured art for generations come.

Photography has been a big part of my life for over 20 years.  I fell in love with it  while spending time in the darkroom during a high school photography class. I followed my heart  and  received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Sam Houston State University. After graduation, I continued my journey by working at  a prominent portrait studio in Austin, TX. I spent 14 wonderful years working there and growing as a photographer.  I am a Certified Professional Photographer recently received my Master of Photography Degree from Professional Photographers of America.

For most of us, it takes stepping out of our comfort zone to get in front of the camera. Most of us want to lose five more pounds, get a better haircut or simply wait for life to slow down. The timing never seems just right. I know, because I've been there myself.
